Traditional American House Architecture covers a broad range of styles,
including elegantly proportioned brick "box" structures, such as, Georgian,
Adams, Federal; "Country" (hand-tooled) styles such as Salt-box, Dutch and Porch
homes; and homes of elaborate revival detailing, including urban mansions
derived from historical Greek, Colonial, Italianate, French and Palladian
periods. Our examples are selected samples of this broad category of styles with
parenthetical reference to its particular subcategory.
Plan variations of many of the houses shown on this page are available from in-house resources at G.M. Frech and Associates.
